Clinical trials are carefully designed research studies that aim to find out if a new treatment or procedure is safe and effective. Clinical trials usually have strict eligibility criteria. To find out whether there is a clinical trial available that you can participate in, it’s best to discuss with your health care team as they are aware of your specific circumstances and what trials are available.
