Voluntary Assisted Dying

In this section you will find information on Voluntary Assisted Dying (VAD). VAD is a safe, legal and effective medical process that gives an eligible person the option to end their suffering by choosing how and when they die. VAD is also called assisted dying, voluntary euthanasia or medical assistance to die. The information and laws about VAD are different in each state and territory in Australia.
